Binance restores Ethereum withdrawals for five tokens after $6.3 billion hack

Binance restores Ethereum withdrawals for five tokens as its recovery from the $6.3 billion hack continues.

Binance has restored Ethereum withdrawals for RLUSD, USD1, TUSD, FDUSD, and XUSD, marking progress in its recovery from a $6.3 billion hack.

In an announcement on X, the exchange confirmed that withdrawals for the five assets were available again. It said it would restore additional assets and networks in phases after security checks.

The Ethereum withdrawal confirmation follows a broader reopening scheduled to start at 4:00 a.m. UTC on November 3, 2026.

Ethereum withdrawals resume as wider rollout continues

Binance has outlined additional withdrawals across BNB Smart Chain, Ethereum, Solana, XRP Ledger, Sui, Arbitrum, Optimism, Tron, and Base.

However, the exchange confirmed that the listed assets would become available progressively.

Not all listed assets will become available at once. Like phase one, reopening will roll out progressively across the assets as security and readiness checks are completed. Deposit services remain open and unaffected, Binance said.

The Ethereum withdrawals do not mean every asset listed for the nine networks is available.

The wider list includes LINK and SHIB on Ethereum, USDC and HAEDAL on Sui, OP and WCT on Optimism, and TUSD on Tron. Each asset-and-network combination remains subject to security and readiness checks.

We are prioritizing tokens based on user demand over the past week, restoring each network-asset pair carefully after completing rigorous security checks. Additional assets will be added as they become ready, Binance said.

Recovery follows initial November 1 reopening

The latest restoration follows an initial withdrawal restart on November 1, which included Bitcoin and selected Ether, USDT, and USDC transfers.

In an update on November 1, Binance said it had replenished about 95% of affected assets. The remaining 5% involved less liquid tokens that take longer to purchase in sufficient quantities.

Binance has said that it will absorb the losses.

Our commitment remains unchanged: Binance will bear the financial impact of the stolen funds. These losses will not be passed on to users, Binance said.

Customers are advised to check the withdrawal page or network-status page for their selected asset and network, as heavy traffic can cause processing delays during the phased reopening.
