The US Lawmakers are set to meet top crypto industry executives to discuss how Congress can advance with President Donald Trump’s Strategic Bitcoin Reserve. Industry experts such as Strategy’s Michael Saylor and Fundstrat CEO Tom Lee are among the 18 executives who will meet President Trump and US lawmakers to formulate a budget-neutral strategy to buy Bitcoin.

Industry Executives Look to Build Momentum Behind the Bitcoin Act

The crypto industry executives are looking to build momentum towards finalizing the preparations for the Bitcoin Act, which calls on the government to acquire one million Bitcoins over five years.

This purchase will be funded through the Federal Reserve and the Department of the Treasury. President Trump's executive order, which authorizes financing the purchase through budget-neutral strategies, will back the purchase of one million Bitcoins under the new Bitcoin Act.

What Budget-Neutral Strategies are Under Consideration?

The Digital Chambers and its affiliate, the Digital Power Network, will host the roundtable that will host President Trump, his team, and the 18 crypto industry executives. The Bitcoin Act is potentially the biggest focus for lawmakers right now, especially after their efforts to pass the GENIUS Act Stablecoin Bill in July 2025.

Among the Budget-neutral strategies that will be considered during the meeting are the reevaluation of tariff revenue and the Treasury’s gold certificates. An important discussion will be around ways to expedite the Bitcoin Act’s progress, which has been stalled for almost six months.

The attendees will investigate the reasons behind the delay and find potential ways to deliver results in accordance with the President’s executive order. The lawmakers and crypto executives will also discuss the most critical objections to the Bitcoin Act that have been floated so far.

Who Else is Attending the Meeting?

Several Bitcoin mining executives, including CleanSpark executives Matt Schultz and Margeaux Plaisted, MARA’s Jayson Browder, and Bitdeer’s Haris Basit, will also attend.

Andrew McCormick, the head of investment platform eToro’s US business, Western Alliance Bank’s David Fragale, and Blue Square Wealth’s Jay Bluestine will also attend the roundtable meeting.
