Strategy Bitcoin Holdings Expands
After this latest acquisition, Michael Saylor’s Strategy now holds a total of 713,502 BTC. The company has invested approximately $54.26 billion into Bitcoin, with an average acquisition cost of $76,052 per Bitcoin. Strategy’s ongoing accumulation has been funded through at-the-market equity offerings and preferred stock issuances. At the current market valuation, Strategy Inc. remains the largest corporate holder of Bitcoin, controlling a total of 3.39% of the total Bitcoin supply.
The latest purchase comes during a period of heightened market volatility. The company continues to fund its "Bitcoin-first" treasury model through its "21/21 Plan," a three-year capital raise strategy designed to utilize both equity and debt. Despite short-term price fluctuations, the company remains committed to its long-term “HODL” strategy.
Led by Executive Chairman Michael Saylor, Strategy remains steadfast in its strategy, recently urging index providers like MSCI to reconsider rules that might exclude Bitcoin-heavy treasuries from global benchmarks.
