Bybit Trading Fees

The Bybit trading fees vary between VIP and non-VIP users. The users who are part of the VIP program have lower trading fees for higher VIP levels. The VIP level is determined based on either your trading volume over the past 30 days or your asset balance. Either of these will be considered if it qualifies you for a higher tier.

VIP levels are refreshed daily at 7:00 AM UTC. If anyone has subaccounts, then those accounts will automatically adopt the fee structure of the main account of the user.

VIP Criteria

Your VIP level is determined based on your last 30-day trading volume or asset balance. Here is how your VIP level is awarded.

Deposit and Withdrawal Fees

Bybit has no deposit or internal transfer fee for on-chain transactions. If you plan to buy cryptocurrencies on Bybit, transaction fees will apply. The relevant charges are displayed on the order page. The cryptocurrency exchange does not charge transaction fees to buyers or sellers for P2P trading. Traders may need to pay transaction fees to the payment service provider based on the method selected.

As for the withdrawal fee, users will be charged for on-chain withdrawals, and the fee will vary depending on the blockchain and cryptocurrency selected. A minimum withdrawal amount and fees will be displayed in the withdrawal window, as the withdrawal fee is not fixed for any amount. Internal transfers have no withdrawal fees.

Perpetual & Futures Contracts Trading

Bybit groups the fee structure for all Perpetual & Futures trading contracts. All contracts are categorized into five groups with different fee rates. Here is how the groups are differentiated. The Pro level will be determined based on the 30-day trading volume of the traders.

  • Group 1 – High volume liquid pairs with adjusted Maker rebates and reduced Taker fees to encourage institutional activity. Pairs include BTC/USDT, ETH/USDT, SOL/USDT, and XRP/USDT.
  • Group 2-3 – Mid-tier pairs with balanced fee adjustments for institutional and smaller clients.
  • Group 4-5 – High volatility, increased Maker rebates, opportunities for lower-tier Pro clients, and low liquidity pairs with higher Taker fees for top Pro levels.
  • Group 6 – All newly listed USDT Perpetual altcoin contracts. These contracts automatically adopt the fee rates under Group 5.
